Time capsules are the perfect way to cherish your past and rediscover how far you have come in life. Usually people create time capsules for themselves and for their family, but League City has a time capsule of their own! Community members can become a part of this project by signing the journal, submitting a business card or writing a small paragraph or entire page. The time capsule will be buried in 2012 and opened in 2037. This is one of the unique ways League City honors and appreciates all of its past, present and future residents!

Red River BBQ has lip-smacking barbeque backup up by southern homemade desserts. They are also the go-to catering place for special events around the city. Whether you are shopping, dining, or just out for a stroll under the towering oak trees, Main Street is entertaining for everyone.
The entertainment doesn't stop there! Events are hosted all year round attracting residents and tourists. Texas Victorian Weekend consists of a Titanic Murder Mystery Dinner, Afternoon Tea & Fashion Show and The Texas Victorian Sweetheart Ball. A lot of events revolve around Clear Lake like The Boat Parade and Fourth of July Fireworks Spectacular, or in parks like Concerts in the Park, Space City Cruisers Car Show, Wellness Walk and Holiday in the Park Parade and Festival.
