Homes ready for move-in in the greater Baltimore area
In the Baltimore area, this is the city of the future. By which we mean: here was an untouched, beautiful, rural community until very recently, and there's still plenty of room to grow. Now Hanover is starting to see development--but only just enough to give residents access to suburban amenities while maintaining the area's gorgeous scenery and rustic feel. Residents enjoy the calm, quiet temperament of this East Coast town--not to mention the area's fantastic seafood.
The biggest draw to any area is always the people. Hanover won't let you down here: primarily residential, this is a town where you can put up your feet and relax. You'll really get to know your neighbors--developments in the area are known for their friendly and gregarious social life. Whether you're playing bunco or meeting up with friends for a cocktail and a nice meal at ZAGAT-rated Timbuktu, your social calendar will always be packed--and you'll still have plenty of downtime.
Speaking of shopping, no discussion of Hanover is complete without a mention of the Arundel Mills mall. In Hanover you will never be anything less than well-dressed. Or at least, you'd have to work very hard not to be. Whether you'd rather dress to the nines from Neiman Marcus or find the best deals at T.J. Maxx, the Arundel Mills mall has something for you. You can keep up with the latest trends at H and M, update your work wardrobe at the Banana Republic and LOFT Outlets, or keep it simple with a day at the Calvin Klein outlet. This is a one-stop shopping, refined to an art form.
There are even several options for families or couples looking for a little weekend entertainment: for an exciting night out with the family, pay a visit to Medieval Times--for a fun night out with the girls or the boys, head to Dave and Buster's. The Cinemark Theatre is another popular destination. Meanwhile, sportsmen (and maybe even sportswomen) will find all the outdoors supplies they've ever dreamed of at Bass Pro Shops. Another recent development is the Maryland Live! Casino, one of the largest entertainment venues of its kind in the nation.
As we mentioned earlier, the food in Hanover will leave you wanting more. For a taste of Hanover, start at the ZAGAT-rated Timbuktu Restaurant. Don't be fooled by the exotic name--this is where locals go to eat authentic Maryland crab cakes, as well as the area's finest steaks, ribs, and chicken. Seafood lovers absolutely must see Gunnings Seafood Restaurant, to experience crab meat from what the restaurant proclaims are "Baltimore's Best Crabs." You'll be a true Marylander after an evening cracking crab shells at this local institution.
New Home Source is proud to introduce you to the undiscovered gem of a town, and we would like to help you find the Hanover-area home that is perfect for you and your family.
