"The key to the hills" can be found in none other than Boerne, TX. Just north of San Antonio this quaint town is nestled deep in the Texas Hill Country. From the natural beauty to the valued quality of life Boerne preserves a small town ambiance that will embrace you immediately.
Being so close to San Antonio the culture and history is evident and overflowing. Downtown you'll find historic buildings converted into charming shops and restaurants and neighborhoods still standing proud from the original settlement.
Boerne offers only the best in their 6 parks, and loves to see community involvement and interaction. Residents enjoy partaking in organized sports teams, bike clubs, and social events which the city hosts throughout the year. As it is the Texas Hill Country recreation is abundant, there are many beautiful nature trails and hills for hiking whereas the Lake is the ideal place for cooling off in the hot summer.
As many residents of Boerne are San Antonio commuters I suppose I should lay out the opportunity that offers as well. As you may know it is home to the Alamo, and Davy Crockett's last stand. Culture is important as you'll quickly find as you mosey down the Riverwalk. From local artists, to touristy gift shops it's always a favorite even for the locals. Nearby there is also the Institute of Texas Culture, and the Tower of Americas which can literally blow you away.
Don't forget that San Antonio is also home to the San Antonio Spurs, Sea World, and Fiesta Texas, quiet the trifecta. Every year residents slip into the wranglers and boots and head on over to the Rodeo, one of Texas biggest might I add, as they watch the bull riders, and mutton bustin. One of San Antonio's best kept secrets might be the Toilet Seat Art Museum, with free admission, it's clearly an ideal hangout, well maybe not, but Cowboys Dancehall sure is. Embrace the South with a little 2 steppin' and happy hour beers. If you're not much for country music try one of the other lively nightclubs like Gran Central Station, it is a 6 in 1 nightclub so you're bound to fit into one of them.
As the night comes to an end you'll be glad to head on back to Boerne, TX. With friendly folk, howdy mams, and breathtaking views what's there not to like? New Home Source is ready to help you find the perfect home in the perfect town.
