About Pepper Viner Homes
Pepper Viner Companies was founded in 1985 by Phil Pepper and Bill Viner as a commercial real estate and multifamily development firm. Although retaining its commercial real estate activities, the Company changed its focus to homebuilding in the early nineties and has continued on that path for the last twenty years. Mike Whyde joined the firm in 1994. Pepper Viner has developed thirty residential communities in metro Tucson.
For the last thirty years Pepper Viner has an unmatched reputation for innovation, superior quality, customer service and sustainable value. Pepper Viner received an Energy Smart Home Scale award from the U.S. Department of energy, a milestone reached by only one-half of one percent of all builders nationally. The Company’s “First Time Quality” program works to ensure that metrics are met by every trade during the building process. The Company was named the 2013 Builder of the Year by Southern Arizona Home Builders Association, the fifth time Pepper Viner has won this prestigious award. It is also a two time recipient of both the Wells Fargo Copper Cactus Award for Best Place to Work and the Alliance of Construction Trades Excellent Homebuilder Award.
The Company also prides itself in community involvement. Principals of the firm have played founding and leadership roles in various community events and organizations.
