Home of the Week: Stoneridge A Plan by Schumacher Homes

Benson, N.C.

The “Open House,” the 1,000-sq.-ft. exhibition centerpiece of the “Making Room: Housing for a Changing America” exhibit at The Building Museum in Washington, D.C., is interior housing origami, meaning it has moving walls, wall beds and other features that make the three-bedroom, two-bathroom home live large. It’s also easy to switch up as lifestyle changes, so the exhibit will be remodeled twice during its run. The exhibit runs through Sept. 16, 2018.
