Lee's Summit is a fairly large city but very livable. It’s the sixth-largest city in Missouri, and is located within Jackson and Cass counties. It is part of the Kansas City metropolitan region. Originally founded in 1865 as the Town of Strother, its name changed to the Town of Lee's Summit in 1868.
