Iredell Museums is located there, too, offering inspiration and education to county residents. Lake Norman State Park near Troutman offers year-round recreation opportunities, including camping, swimming, water skiing, fishing, and boating. Carrigan Farms in Mooresville is a 5th generation family-run farm with an on-site rock quarry which has become a popular area swimming spot. Zootastic in Troutman is a family-owned zoo with a large display of exotic wildlife. Throughout Iredell County, there are many opportunities for shopping, dining, and so much more.
