Northwest Building Company is a family owned company that was founded 18 years ago by Ryan and Tracy Mayberry and builds homes in the Unifour area of northwestern North Carolina. Ryan grew up in the construction industry and he can remember his father taking him on the jobsite for the first time at 5 years old and letting him use a hammer to drive nails into scrap lumber. At 14, Ryan started working summers and during school vacation days and then after graduating from Appalachian State University, Ryan went back to work for his father for a few years until founding Northwest Building Company. In 2014, RyanÆs father Leo joined Northwest Building Company to manage some of the on-site work.
