The Morgan

Olde Towne East is a neighborhood of Columbus, Ohio's historic Near East Side. It is one of the city's oldest communities. As a result of its history, the district boasts over 1,000 homes, some dating back to the 1830s, and more than 50 architectural types. Many of Columbus' renowned citizens, including businessmen, lawyers, judges, teachers, architects, mayors, governors, and legislators, built these residences, and many of them shaped the city. The culturally rich Short North Arts District, known as Columbus' art and soul, is a pioneer in Central Ohio's urban redevelopment. Visitors are invited to explore our vibrant neighborhood, which is known for its amazing art, dining, nightlife, fashion, home décor, and unique South Campus Gateway. The area serves students, university employees, neighborhood residents, alumni, and visitors, and brings new vitality to High Street, Columbus' "Main Street." South Campus Gateway, located on High Street close to the Ohio State University campus, features a flagship university bookstore, 184 apartments, retail shops, art galleries, offices, and a diverse selection of restaurants and nightclubs. The Central Business District of Columbus, Ohio, in the United States is known as Downtown Columbus. The region is centered on the intersection of Broad and High streets, with the northeast corners simply referred to as Broad & High by local businesses and the media. Downtown Columbus spans the entire area inside the inner belt and is home to the majority of the city's tallest structures.
