It takes generations to create a family and since 1985, David & Goliath Builders has been creating it's own family of building solutions. It began with David & Goliath Builders, Inc., Southeastern Wisconsin's premier builder of custom homes. In order to control quality, our company was formed with the first generation---skilled craftsmen on staff full-time. We employ our own architectural designers, masonry and carpentry craftsmen, and interior designers. As award winning custom builders, we strive to build not only high quality homes, but to resolve our customer's needs. We are responsive to the idea that our customers want everything complete on the inside and outside. So our second generation was born, a landscape division. By word of mouth from existing customers and demand for quality remodeling, our third generation was created. DG Remodeling provides solutions for modifying existing living environments. As we've diversified, a fourth generation was created, our affiliate company, Avid Homes, LLC. Avid Homes provides high quality models that are practical, well designed and affordable. You can rest easy knowing our family's generations of experience and personal attention can fulfill your family's living needs. After working as a skilled carpenter and observing hundreds of jobsites, David decided that the key ingredient missing in the industry was builders who actually built! It was clear that David & Goliath Builders would be set up differently. Instead of being just a general contractor or paper contractor employing subcontractors, David wanted to maintain control of the most important aspects of the construction process. He immediately set up his own crews of highly skilled masonry, framing and finish carpentry craftsmen. He decided that the company's goal and philosophy would be to limit the number of projects that the company does to maintain consistent quality.
