Truxton Village

Welcome to Truxton Village located in notable Hermitage, Tennessee. This townhome community has many new homes for sale with immediate occupancy. Truxton Village is named after President Andrew Jackson's estate. Located approximately 10 miles from downtown Nashville and bordered by the gracious Cumberland River to the west and by beautiful Old Hickory and Percy Priest Lakes to the north and south this community offers a colorful tie to the past as well as a stepping stone to your future. Our community's ties to Jackson go further than our location as we are named for Jackson's most famous thoroughbred racehorse, Truxton, purchased on the occasion of Jackson's birthday in May of 1805. Truxton was acclaimed as the best horse in Tennessee and his winnings and stud fees were a considerable portion of Jackson's income and helped pay Jackson's campaign expenses for his first presidential run in 1824. Though steeped in history Truxton Village boasts all the contemporary amenities that our buyer's have come to expect in our new homes.
