Tim Costello is currently President and Chief Executive Officer of BDX, Inc., and Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Builder Homesite, Inc., and New Home Technologies, LLC. Prior to BHI, Mr. Costello worked for Applied Materials as Vice President, Global Operations. Prior to this position, Mr. Costello served as the Vice President of Strategic & Technical programs for the World Wide Manufacturing Organization, Vice President of Production Engineering, Managing Director for the Common Module Manufacturing & Engineering (CMM&E) organization, and the Director of Engineering for the mainframe group in Austin, Texas. Prior to 1993 he held a variety of executive and management positions at General Motors Corporation covering a broad range from Strategic Planning to Engineering and Quality Management. In addition Mr. Costello has consulted internationally on the development & implementation of world-class manufacturing, engineering and quality systems.
Mr. Costello also serves on the boards of HelioVolt Corporation, a leader in the development on thin film photovoltaic technology; The Shingo Prize for Excellence in Manufacturing, considered the Nobel Prize for manufacturing; The Trust for Public Land of Texas; The Trust for Public Land National Marketing Council; and the Cornell University Engineering Advisory Council. Mr. Costello received his BSME from Cornell University in 1981. He was also inducted into the Shingo Prize Manufacturing Academy in 2003.
Chief Experience Officer
Melissa Morman is a member of the original founding executive team of BHI/BDX (Builders Digital Experience) and currently serves as the company’s Chief Client Officer, managing b2b marketing, sales, and the customer experience. Prior to BDX, Melissa worked for ClientLogic, a leading provider of integrated infrastructure and CRM solutions as the Client Management Officer and also as VP Sales. Prior to ClientLogic, she spent 10 years at R.R. Donnelley & Sons in sales, global account management, as well as front line supervision. Melissa serves on the board for Vallecitos Mountain Ranch, a wilderness retreat center specializing in transformational experiences, as well as on the board of Texas 4000, a non-profit focused on cancer awareness and research. Melissa received a BS degree in Organizational Communication and Management Information Systems, Cum Laude from Ohio University.
As a woman at the highest levels of what has historically been an industry led by male executives, Melissa has a track record of success in the corporate and non-profit worlds. A sought after speaker, she is an acknowledged expert on sales, marketing, and CRM. Melissa advises top executives of Fortune 500 and smaller companies in the homebuilding, real estate, and building products industries on the digital transformation of their business.

Krishna Murthy brings over 15 years of experience in technology management and implementation to the BDX/BHI/NHT team. Before joining Builder Homesite, Inc., he was the Chief Technology Officer of Rx.com, a technology driven start-up firm engaged in e-commerce in the online pharmacy arena. Prior to that he managed technology at MCC, a premier research consortium; Danka Omnifax, an office equipment sales and service company; and an environmental information services company. Mr. Murthy has significant experience in technology architecture, technology project management, business process re-engineering, set up and formation of a technology team and implementation of relevant technologies for a businesses.
Since joining BHI, Mr. Murthy has overseen the development and operation of NewHomeSource, including integration with several large builders, development of an XML standard for new home data transport, development of a platform to support private-labeled partner sites and development of custom real estate-related enterprise web applications. He is also supervising the definition of product requirements for Envision, an integrated options management solution.
Mr. Murthy holds a Master’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, with specialization in Knowledge Based Systems, from the University of Houston.
VP Digital Operations
Drew Leakey brings over 15 years of experience in the ecommerce industry, which includes digital marketing, software development, data analytics, and agile process management. Before joining Builder Homesite Inc, Drew was the Chief Operating Officer at Living Direct, an ecommerce start-up that sold specialty appliances to consumers, businesses, and to construction builders across the country. During his tenure, Living Direct, Inc. was awarded “Austin Business Journal’s Fast 50” three times for being one of the fastest growing companies in the Austin area. As COO, Drew helped lead and “bootstrap” the company’s growth from $20 mil to $120 mil in annual revenue. In October 2015, Living Direct was sold to a strategic partner Build.com, a subsidiary of Ferguson Enterprises.
Drew Leakey has both start-up and large company experience. He has had stints at Accenture as a developer and project manager. He has served at AT&T Internet Services as a Director of Content Management and he has spent several years at CallawayGolf.com as a Director, where he led all ecommerce website sales and operational activities for the company’s new and pre-owned golf equipment.
Drew Leakey has a BBA in Finance from the University of Oklahoma. He studied two years in France at the Universite de Blaise Pascal taking intensive French courses, and also taught English classes as a professor at the same university.
VP, Client Experience & GM, Tech Solutions
Alpana Arora brings over 30 years of Management and Leadership experience in the high-tech world, including digital marketing, ecommerce, and web development. Alpana is a long-standing member of the BDX family, serving in various roles over the last 20 years, most recently as the GM of our portfolio of Technology Solutions, including Websites, Envision, and Dreamweaver, the ultimate online shopping experience platform in the new construction space. She also serves as the VP of Client Experience, overseeing most all delivery and account management teams across the company.
Before joining BDX, Alpana was with IBM/Tivoli for several years in the Software Group, serving as the Digital Leader responsible for their corporate CRM initiative across the Americas, EMEA and AsiaPac. Early in her career, she was at Edify Corporation, a start-up out of Silicon Valley as the Web Manager for the first banking self-service platform in the mid-90s. Alpana was part of the core team that took the company public as well as during the S1 acquisition. She began her career in the Education industry, first as adjunct faculty and then as a 4th generation language developer, bringing state-of-the-art technology to classrooms via software and educational tools. Alpana studied at the University of Texas at Austin, with majors in Computer Science and Pre-med.
Alpana is an industry leader who often consults with builders of all sizes and business models on technology and digital marketing strategies. She is on a quest to take new home construction to the next level in commerce enablement and digitization of the buyer journey.
