Campus Farm Green

In north-central Tucson, the Campus Farm community mixes the best of city living with mountain vistas across open fields. It is named after the University of Arizona Campus Farm (now known as the Campus Agricultural Center (CAC)). The Audubon Society recognizes the CAC as one of Tucson's best places for birdwatching in the city.

The Rillito River and The Loop (Tucson's 131-mile network of dedicated cycling lanes) border the area on the north. It is divided by the Mountain Avenue Bikeway, which connects The Loop to the University of Alberta campus 3.37 miles to the south. With the business corridors of Campbell and First Avenue to the east and west, it's easy to stroll to restaurants, shopping, fitness and yoga clubs, and other attractions.

Campus Farm Green, a regeneratively sustainable new-home neighborhood along the Mountain Avenue Bikeway and overlooking the Campus Farm fields, will be built on a small scale. Its light-filled, breeze-filled residences will celebrate indoor/outdoor living while producing more electricity and harvesting more water than they consume.
