Large 1+ acre homesites are available at Kentucky Acres, which is located in a terrific location. Kentucky Acres is a short drive from I-71 exit 14 and offers wooded, walk-out, and level building sites. Oldham County Schools are located in this area, and they have won numerous awards. Kentucky Acres is conveniently located near Wendell Moore Park, the Oldham County Aquatic Center, and the Oldham County YMCA, and is only a twenty-minute drive from Paddock Shops.

The Jones Group, L.L.C. is the result of three generations of East Louisville and Oldham County homebuilding and land development. Carl "June" Clore started the company in the early 1950s, and it was passed down to his son-in-law Bob Jones in 1967, and then to his grandson Clay Jones in 1997. More than 1,000 residences have been developed in the region by the three generations.

By joining the LG&E ‘Energy Smart' Home program, The Jones Group has pledged to develop new homes that are extremely energy efficient. The program's requirements necessitate certification by an independent contractor (Metro First), who tests and validates that their homes meet the stringent Energy Smart requirements. Advanced insulation techniques, as well as energy-efficient windows and heating and cooling equipment, are required for this program.

An Energy Rater, who is properly qualified to assess homes depending on their level of energy efficiency, tests and inspects their properties. This value is comparable to a car's MPG rating.
