Mitch Schwartz began Schwartz Custom Homes to provide a positive building experience and produce quality-built homes in the Austin area. Mitch Schwartz brings over three decades of building experience. He began his career in the building industry in Michigan. Upon graduating from Michigan State University, Mitch Schwartz was fortunate to be accepted into the second-largest homebuilder management program on the East Coast.

Upon honing his building skills, Mitch Schwartz decided to relocate to Texas in the early 80s. He would work for the largest commercial developer in the region as a general contractor. Mitch Schwartz took part in the construction of over 2,000 apartment units throughout Texas and neighboring states. Mitch had worked for two major construction firms for over 20 years before deciding to venture out independently.

Mitch’s honesty and integrity have enabled him to build quality homes at a fair price while maintaining a positive building experience. At Schwartz Home Builders, Mitch has assembled a team of passionate individuals who are very active in the home building community. At Schwartz Custom Homes, our commitment to quality has earned us a membership at the National Association of Home Builders, Texas Association of Builders, and Builders Association of Greater Austin.
