Our story begins in the 1970s, when I experienced the renovation of my familys home on the shores of Big Cedar Lake. At that time, I knew I had found my calling -- to design and build high-end custom homes. In 1984, my wife Lisa and I founded Moore Designs with the goal of eventually evolving into a architectural design/build firm and home remodeling company. In the beginning, we employed a crew of three carpenters who performed framing carpentry services on a subcontracted basis. We also designed and built homes which we sold on speculation.
