130 William couldn't exist in any other place. Sir David Adjaye begins with the setting of his area. He defies the norms of large glass skyscrapers with curves and arches influenced by local tradition. Adjaye's first New York City high-rise structure, at 66 stories and over 800 feet tall, makes a major contribution to the city's skyline. The hand-cast concrete exterior of 130 William stands out against the Lower Manhattan skyline.

Each house, elevated above the city streets, is a sanctuary giving respite from the city's activities. Sir David Adjaye believes natural light to be a design feature, creating light-filled rooms with large arched windows. Underfoot, wide plank white oak flooring adds warmth throughout, while bespoke Adjaye-designed bronze fixtures provide a feeling of refined elegance.

Custom Italian marble mined from the Apuan Alps and handmade by craftsmen in Tuscany is featured in all properties. The one-of-a-kind stone heightens the impression of richness in the room while also providing an improved sensory experience. The Penthouse and Loggia Residences are located on the top 10 levels of the structure. The interiors include generously proportioned rooms and loft-like ceilings ranging in height from 11 to 14 feet, which flow effortlessly into spacious and covered outdoor spaces with views stretching from river to river, across Manhattan, and beyond.
