Over the last 50 years, Don Farek, president and owner of Cameo Homes, has built hundreds of homes in the Central Texas area. After graduating from Texas A&M University and serving in the U.S. Army as an infantry officer, Don and his wife settled into the Killeen area in 1962, where they would raise their three children.

It is in Killeen that Don began his career in home construction and where Cameo Homes established itself as an industry leader thanks to Don's dedication to innovative designs, quality materials, fine craftsmanship, and unmatched customer care. Don's commitment to the homeowners who trust him and the greater Killeen area is evident in his volunteer efforts. He served twice as President of the Central Texas Home Builders Association and later served on the Board of Directors. In addition, he has served as a Killeen Planning and Zoning Committee member and three terms as a Killeen city councilman. The company's motto, "Your Style, Cameo Quality," comes from Don's unwavering commitment to building quality homes for the citizens of the greater Killeen area.
