Jon Dennie, the owner, began his career in the construction industry in 2004, working for a local spec home builder who was developing neighborhoods throughout Northwest Arkansas. He was one of the last employees who hadn’t been laid off when the company went bankrupt due to the market crash. He then went to work for a development company that built the subdivision infrastructure before the lots were sold. In 2008, while working for them, he decided to start Clearwater Construction.
