A&M General Contracting, LLC is a construction company that takes pride in delivering a high-quality product at affordable prices. A&M General Contracting, LLC was founded by Arthur Mitchell. Art began restoring Chicago Graystones in the late 1980s and began constructing new construction in 1994 while continuing to restore and remodel older structures.

For nearly 30 years, Art has been involved in the construction and development of hundreds of houses. He loves being hands-on at all stages of production and the whole building process. Art continues to research the most recent construction methods, materials, and building techniques in order to remain current and improve the quality of the projects he works on.

Marek Jajcay is the other co-founder of A & M General Contracting, LLC. Marek began working in the construction industry at a young age. He designed single-family homes, offices, and warehouses in Pezinok, Slovakia. Marek has overseen over 30 building projects, the majority of which have been single-family homes, over the last three years.

Marek spends a significant amount of time consulting with vendors to ensure that the level of quality reaches his exacting standards. Marek has brought his experience and knowledge from the European quality homes and office spaces he has designed. His passion for construction and a high degree of quality can be seen in the style and finishes that our clients get.

Art and Marek are proud of every project they've had the opportunity to work on. A & M's logical and conservative approach helped them to survive the storm and assure their clients that A & M General Contracting, LLC would be there to support them with their changing needs in the future.
