McKinney Builders.

Mac McKinney founded McKinney Builders in 1970 and has been designing and building custom homes and light commercial structures for over 40 years. In 1973, Mac's first large-scale project included over 200 condos in Union City. When Shenandoah was established in 1974, Mac relocated to Newnan and built homes as part of the new development.

Since then, he has been building custom homes in Newnan and the southern outskirts of Atlanta. McKinney Builders has built hundreds of custom single-family homes, condos, and light commercial and industrial spaces over the years, including doctors' offices and a pet resort!

McKinney Builders is a family-owned and operated business. Austin McKinney, Mac's son, serves as project manager, overseeing all of McKinney Builder's projects. Evan McKinney, Mac's daughter, works in sales for Atlanta Fine Homes Sotheby's International Realty, where he sells his projects. McKinney Builders' neighborhoods have always been home to the McKinney family. They relocated to the idyllic Serenbe community in 2006, where McKinney Builders has built nearly 50 homes.

McKinney builder’s philosophy is based on authenticity, integrity, and trust. They recognize that pleasing customers entails treating people equally and always telling the facts. McKinney Builders has embraced the quality first mantra and strives to create beautiful homes and neighborhoods for all its customers.

Their work and values live in each of the houses they create. All homes are solidly designed, using the most up-to-date energy-efficient building technologies and often geothermal energy technology and timeless architecture.
