Elms-Clowers Construction Inc. is a family owned construction business dating all the way back to 1982. Brothers-in-law David Elms and Terry Clowers founded the company almost forty years ago to serve Little Rock and Central Arkansas. Even though they both had experience in different aspects of construction, they both wanted to learn everything they could about every aspect of the process, as fast as they could. Fashioning their company on "old school" building practices and philosophies, they used to work closely together on every phase of every project. They would work together on foundation work, framing, hanging, and finishing sheetrock, installing interior trim, building cabinets, roofing, and other areas of the construction process. They completed their first home together in 1983 and they have built many custom homes for many wonderful clients in the years since. In addition to housing offices, conference rooms, and storage space, their facilities also include a cabinet shop.
