The Hartland Construction crew has a combined 50 years of experience in the construction industry. Owner, Paul Westlie, first started in the new home industry right out of high school building custom cabinets for Midwest Products. He later took a career in commercial construction with Brickl Brothers. During his career with Brickl Brothers he found himself overwhelmed with calls for side work doing remodeling and requests from other area home builders seeking to add Paul to their construction crew. Then, in 1996, Paul started his own custom home building company.

Today, Hartland Construction sets themselves apart from other area General Contractors by being that construction company that is fully insured and employs full-time crew members as opposed to hiring out the carpentry labor to sub-contractors. This provides their customers with the peace of mind knowing there will be enough workers to get the job done in a timely, efficient, and quality manner.
