Christopher Scott Homes

Chris and Scott grew up as childhood friends since the 6th grade. They initially met playing on the same basketball team. What was initially a great point guard and forward relationship on the court grew into a thriving business partnership.

Chris spent his childhood days on residential job sites, hanging from the rafters, watching his dad build homes. He could often be found drawing extravagant house plans for homes he dreamed of building himself someday. That dream became a reality when he built his first home alongside his dad during high school. He decided to study Industrial Management with a Computer Science minor at Purdue. He started building homes in 1997 while developing software as a main stay. After 4 years Chris decided to focus entirely on building homes and retired from Software Development in 2001.

Scott’s desire to someday own his own business began at an early age mowing lawns and shoveling snow around his neighborhood. He learned at an early age that he really enjoyed working outdoors. Scott knew he wanted to run a business someday. Scott went to IU to study marketing. He went on to graduate from IU’s Kelley School of Business a few year later.

Chris and Scott decided to put their college rivalry to the side and jointly started up Christopher Scott Homes in 2002.

They are a small boutique design and build company specializing in luxury, custom homes located in Carmel, IN. They are a tight knit company of 6 people. They design and build a handful of high-end custom homes each year, all under one roof. You don’t have to go out and seek out a separate architect and contractor to work on your job. Their in house architect, Emily, has never designed the same house twice, nor have they built the same house twice. Her 3D Revit home designs range from modern to transitional to traditional styles. Every home they create is shaped around your unique wish list. They believe that listening to what their clients want really help
