Their company t-shirts proudly display their name and logo on the front with their iconic slogan "Ask me about my builder" on the back. Their customers and employees proudly wear these shirts, and they often get asked this very question. Over the years their customers have told them that these shirts spark countless conversations with others who have said that they want a JW Mumper home too.

They call themselves "home builders", because they want their customers to understand that they don't just build houses, they build homes as well. Building a new home is one of the single most expensive investments most people ever make in their entire lifetimes, so JW Mumper understands the immense personal investment that their customers expect and need from their company before, during, and after the process is complete. Over the years, many of their customers have become personal friends of Jim and his staff, and many of their friends have become customers as well. Repeat customers are proof of a job well done, with one customer coming back more than five times over a twenty five year span to update their homes as their needs changed. Most of their staff has remained in tact over the last twenty years. They welcome their returning customers with familiar faces and voices.

A strong reputation is the best form of advertisement, but you'll still see their name on various fundraiser events. They are a proud sponsor of the "MDA Tour-de-Gaughen" bicycle race. They have raised almost $20,000 over the last few years. They have helped several young men achieve their Eagle Scout awards, and they have provided supplies and donations for various scouting and youth sports organizations.
