LandMark Construction and Renovation is a talented and highly reputable home building company that has many years of experience. In order to better understand their purpose and message, it is important to get to know their owner a bit better. He states that nearly a century ago, his great grandfather was a carpenter and home builder in Quincy, Illinois. His grandfather was a general contractor and land developer; and to this day, Mark’s father continues to renovate homes. So, I guess you could say construction is in his blood. Mark has been working on construction job sites since he was a kid, honing his skills and learning about all aspects of the building industry, from foundations to finishing. Mark graduated from Illinois State University with a bachelor’s degree in Construction Technology. While in college, he was invited to be part of a small group of students who traveled to Vladimir, Russia, to help build the first American home in that country. Since 1990, he has been working in the Bloomington/Normal home building industry. But he eventually decided that, much like his father and grandfathers before me, he wanted to own his own business. So, he founded LandMark Construction and Renovations, and the lifeblood of this industry leading company began.
