Norrod Builders has completed renovations and expansions ranging in size from 500 to 5,000 square feet in the Upper Cumberland region. These include a 2,000-square-foot addition to an insurance office, a 5,000-square-foot extension to a multi-generational family home, and a full restoration of a turn-of-the-century farmhouse. We went back and expanded 7,000 square feet after constructing a 10,000 square foot medical facility, making this one of the biggest medical offices in the Upper Cumberland region.

Our residences vary in size from 2,000 to 20,000 square feet. In the Cookeville, Putnam County, and neighboring areas, we specialize in custom houses. Massive moldings, coffered ceilings, and raised panels on walls are just a few of the architectural elements seen in many of these houses. Our trim work is our specialty, and we use some of the finest trim carpenters in the region.

Our commercial projects vary in size from 2,000 square feet to 100,000 square feet. A 100,000-square-foot factory building, several large churches in the area, medical offices ranging from 2,000 to 18,000 square feet in Putnam, Overton, and Pickett counties, a bank in Overton County, daycare centers ranging from 4,000 to 10,000 square feet, and municipal buildings in Putnam and Overton counties, including a Chamber of Commerce and a library
