Alden, located on the eastern side of Erie Counry, offers a charming rural setting while being only minutes away from contemporary comforts. The Town of Alden is a wonderful area to live, work, and play, with top-rated schools, rich farmland, strong business prospects, and a diverse range of active community groups.

The Recreation Department of the Town of Alden has been in operation for almost 50 years. Youth and adult recreation and sports activities have expanded to the point that Alden now boasts two Town Parks with soccer fields, baseball, and softball facilities, and concession stands. The Town runs a six-week summer youth program that includes arts and crafts, outdoor games, tennis, story hour, dancing, drama/theater, swimming, and field excursions.
