Living in Newtown, PA

The calm and historic Newtown Township, located in the Philadelphia metro region, is a historic hamlet founded by Quakers in 1681. It was an agricultural village with stone farmhouses and modest dwellings for more than two centuries before becoming a hunting and horseback riding resort for affluent Philadelphians. Newtown Square is now a prosperous suburban neighborhood, due to a trolley connection that connects it to Philadelphia and a post-World War II development boom.

The Marple Newtown School District, which has one high school, one middle school, and four elementary schools, serves Newtown Township. Almost all of the district's schools outperform the state average! Your children will attend the Rose Tree Media District if you are relocating to Newtown Square and live in the southern region. Great Valley Schools are located in the northwest part of town.
