Owned by John and Kathleen Leebel, The Lewis Building Company offers construction services to people interested in owning custom homes at the Delaware beaches. Our goal is to deliver custom homes that exceed customer expectations. Our founder, John, boasts extensive experience in custom homes construction. He spent the past ten years working for luxury custom homes, such as Toll Brothers and NV Homes. He has specialized training in large-scale projects, scheduling, production, and subcontractor management. All communities under John’s management got recognized for their excellent overall budgeting and superior cost control. In 2008, the Home Builders Association of Delaware awarded one of John’s communities the prestigious Resort Community of the Year Award.

John and Kathleen have designed a system that enables them to build unique, high-quality custom homes with unprecedented value. At The Lewis, we promise to make the construction process enjoyable and personal. Our construction approach is founded on a direct, constant client engagement and owner-managed build. At The Lewis, we know that your home is an investment you would want to make the most out of. So, we work directly with our clients during budgeting, selection, and designing of their custom homes.
