Welcome to Artisan Homes and Design! We specialize in highly energy-efficient, ultra-low maintenance luxury home design and build, remodeling older custom homes, and light commercial projects.

Since our formation in 1988, we have designed and built over a hundred million dollars of residential and commercial projects. Unique home design and build projects have ranged in value from five hundred thousand to three million dollars. The company primarily builds on clients’ sites which range in size from city lots to farms and ranches. We are proud to be a member of the Central Oregon Builders Association, registered with the Oregon Construction Contractors Board. We provide design, drafting, engineering, interior décor, audio-video design, home automation, site design, and all construction phases. Our projects have earned numerous awards for design, interior décor, and noteworthy projects.

When you choose us, we will set up a meeting with you. Then you bring your ideas, pictures, and everything that helps communicate your vision. If you already own your building site, we will want to meet again at your site. We always aim to understand our client's vision of home fully. Next, we estimate the approximate size and cost of your project using your list of needs and desires plus information about your site, and then we offer help to make your dream home possible. From here, we proceed to the design process. Utilizing all the available information, we design a floor plan that best fulfills your design dreams. You can take as much time as you wish to study the floor plan; then, when you are ready, you can show us your desired changes and additions. We will edit the plan and show you a preview before building the home of your dreams.
