In 1990, he built his first spec home in Cleburne. After graduating from The University of Texas at Arlington in 1993 with a BBA in Finance, he founded Forrester Custom Homes, began building houses professionally, and incorporated the business in 1997. As business picked up, he designed house plans on his own, first on paper and then eventually using the latest 3-D computer-aided design software. Today, he is a home designer and home builder.
