The Roche Harbor Resort area's Master Plan is based on a number of town planning concepts that encourage not only a feeling of place and historical perspectives, but also a sustainable, healthy community free of rural sprawl. The Alder Forest Cottages are located in Eastsound, Washington on Orcas Island. The design includes eight two-bedroom cottages facing a pedestrian garden promenade that begins with a three-story, one-bedroom tower on one end. A daylight pavilion with a stone fireplace and covered picnic tables is located at the trail's far end. This stunning 4 acre waterfront development in Somers, Montana is located 8 miles south of Kalispell, 25 minutes from Glacier International Airport, and one hour from Glacier National Park. Sunset Magazine's Idea Town for 2013 features two Idea Houses with courtyard guest houses and a combined courtyard and outdoor living space. Seabrook and Sunset Magazine chose BC&J Architecture and their Perfect Little House Company to design the homes.
