Because of its location just off Highway 377, it is convenient for any commute and offers a pleasant getaway from the rush and bustle of the city. This town is served by the highly regarded Argyle Independent School District, which is known for its excellent academics and championship-winning athletic programs. If you want to live in the country while yet being accessible to major towns, Argyle is your best option. Fantastic schools and lovely, secure communities to live in.
Shopping and dining are plentiful too. Just 15 minutes down 407, for example, The Shops at Highland Village, and The Shops of Flower Mound, as well as The Highlands of Flower Mound, offer everything from Target and McDonalds to White House | Black Market and Rockfish Seafood Grill. There's a Whole Foods Grocery for the foodies in your family and a Barnes and Noble for you bookworms and Highway 114 is about 15 minutes south if your commute takes you to the financial center the Westlake area has become.
It's just another 5 minutes or so into Southlake if you crave a change of pace. Argyle is a one high school town. Children in The Lakes of Argyle attend the often recommended Argyle Independent School District starting at Hilltop Elementary.
