Benchmark Homes was founded by Mark Rasch in 1993 during a pretty tough situation. Mark was working with a home builder to complete his own new home at the time when the builder suddenly left town, leaving the project unfinished. Mark then told his banker that he could finish the home himself. He performed a lot of research, asked plenty of questions, and learned the trade, until he finally completed his home. After this, he realized that he is truly passionate about the home building industry and that was when Benchmark Developers was born.

Benchmark Homes is a custom home builder providing exceptional homes all throughout the St. Louis County including Clayton, Crestwood, Des Peres, Frontenac, Glendale, Sunset Hills, and all the surrounding areas. During his early days, Mark joined the Home Builder’s Association and took advantage of their educational programs to increase his expertise. A skill that Mark still values up to this day.
