Chatham Park

Chatham Park is a proposed mixed-use development of 7,100 acres situated between Jordan Lake and Pittsboro. The land, located between Raleigh, Durham, and Chapel Hill, is a natural addition to Research Triangle Park, giving a future anchor to one of the nation's fastest expanding, economically active, and most coveted locations. The project is planned to add 60,000 inhabitants and 22 million square feet of commercial, research, retail, and communal space when completed. Chatham Park has two Pittsboro offices: 79 Hillsboro Street (downtown) and 55 Grant Drive (Chatham Park).

Chatham Park has a thriving residential real estate market as one of North Carolina's fastest growing counties. Housing supply and demand are both high, but vacancy is still low. Historic downtown residences, huge rural farms, thriving planned communities with single- and multi-family homes, age-qualified neighborhoods, and more are all available in Chatham Park.

Hundreds of acres of parks and public greenways may be found at Chatham Park. The American Tobacco Trail, a 22-mile rail-to-trail greenway, runs through northeast Chatham Park. The path links to Durham and Wake County networks. Chatham Parks & Recreation operates four parks in the county, each with walking paths, sports fields and courts, and other facilities. The Siler City Parks & Recreation Department manages six parks, two gyms, a community center, and a greenway. Pittsboro Parks & Recreation maintains six parks, including a disc golf course, a community house, and a greenway.
