Mercato

Mercato is a new mixed builder community in Fort Wayne. This community is located off W Hamilton road, north of Covington road, sharing an entrance with the Chapel, aligning with Woodside's entrance. Mercato is a single-family home subdivision on just under 90 acres. Mercato is located in a quiet cul-de-sac; thus, the environment is usually calm and peaceful. There are ponds scattered around Mercato; these ponds create a serene environment and can also be used by homeowners for fishing and boating.

At Mercato, there are fifty-three lots in the first section. These lots will average about a quarter acre, and homes will be laid out in a loop circulation design preferred for easy school bus travel. Also, sidewalks are proposed for both sides of each interior street and along the south side of West Hamilton road; Mercato is built with a strategic architectural structure. Covington Elementary School, Woodside Middle School, and Homestead High School are great schools within walking distance from Mercato, recommended for homeowners' kids.
