BBL Construction is a design-build construction company specializing in post-frame, panel-frame, and concrete construction. BBL Construction began in 1975 as Buchheit Buildings LTD, a company that specialized in the sale and erection of post-frame farm and commercial buildings located at the Buchheit Inc. lumber and hardware store.

In 1979 the rapidly growing company was relocated to a larger space near Biehle, which included offices, lumber storage buildings, and a truss manufacturing facility. In 1990, after many years of success, the company became an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) business when the employees purchased 79% of the company from Kenny and Rudy Buchheit. The company name was changed to BBL Buildings and Components Ltd. Soon, the company became a 100% ESOP company. As the business grew, the company moved into a larger space in Perryville in 2009 and, in 2011, merged with Energy Panel Structures (EPS). In 2015, EPS discontinued erecting buildings and sold the assets of the construction division. The newly independent company was established as BBL Construction Inc. and relocated to its current location. Now owned by Richard Schemel and Dale Schemel, BBL Construction provides a wide range of building specifications and turnkey projects.
