Brunkow Builders has a long history and solid reputation as a premier custom home builder in the Chippewa Valley and Eau Claire, Wisconsin area. Carl Brunkow started the business in 1972 and soon developed an excellent reputation for quality construction and excellence in service. Today, his son Lance carries on the same values and traditions. Lance grew up working for his father every summer, learning the business from the end of a saw or hammer. In 1990, he graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Stout with a degree in Construction Management. After graduation, he worked as a project engineer for a large commercial and industrial contractor in Randolph, New Jersey. After three years, he moved back to Eau Claire to work alongside his father. He took ownership of the business in 1998 upon his dad's retirement.
