Creative Constructions of Ithaca is an innovative and experienced building company that specializes in the design and construction of affordable, energy-efficient custom homes. Founded by Robert Champion in 2006, Creative Constructions has grown to include ten skilled workmen and collaborating designer Kristin Bartholomew. The team also partners with some of the best local subcontractors, such as Adam Brown Plumbing, Steve King Concrete Specialists, and Enslow Landscaping and Excavation.

Robert has been building in Ithaca since 2001 after moving from inspiring locations such as Washington's San Juan Islands and Cascade Mountains, and California's Redwood forests. With a background in teaching and artistry, Robert built his own home as well as several others in the Second Neighborhood Group (SoNG) at EcoVillage at Ithaca. It was here that Robert met Rod Lambert, with whom he has since designed and built numerous projects throughout Tompkins County.

Creative Constructions offers smart designs, personal service, responsive communication, and excellent craftsmanship for all building projects. Our team can guide you through the entire process of designing and constructing a custom home – from initial design and budgeting to obtaining permits right through to handing over the keys at completion. We strive to ensure that the experience of building your home is both enjoyable and stress-free. At Creative Constructions of Ithaca, we are currently scheduled through 2024 and will not be considering any new projects until then.
