Bridgewood Estates Phase Ii/O'donnell

Enter Merrillville?s Bridgewood subdivision and it is hard to look past the beauty of the large pond. This is no insignificant water feature typical of many newer subdivisions. At Bridgewood, the pond is the centerpiece, surrounded by spacious homes. Many of those homes have their own docks and paddle boats. Beyond the pond is an outstanding community made of winding roads and rolling hills. On the southeast side is an untouched nature preserve, providing backyard privacy for bordering homes. Nearby is the southern tip of the Erie-Lackawana trail?a real draw for bikers, walkers, skaters and in the winter, cross-country skiers. Connecting trails currently extend north into Hammond with plans to eventually expand the trails from towns south of Crown Point, all the way north to Chicago.
