James Fulton, President of Fulton Custom Homes, received his residential builders license in 1973 after attending Michigan State University and began building single family homes after learning the business from his uncle. He is also a licensed mechanical contractor. Throughout his career he has built mostly custom residences but has a wide range of experience including light commercial, multi-family, and group foster care facilities for the state of Michigan. He is a member of the Zoning Board of Appeals, Construction Board of Appeals, and Planning Commission for Coloma Township. He also shares his expertise on the Construction Board of Appeals for Watervliet Township. He is happily married to his wife of 33 years, Suzanne, who has been a constant source of support and talent for the company. When not involved in the business Jim can be found riding his Harley-Davidson with friends.
