Boyd Johnston grew up in the town of Childress. He graduated from West Texas State University in 1989. Boyd went to work for Cargill Inc., in which he held various positions for 14 years. Boyd started up Johnston Homes, Inc. in 2003 and his creativity flourished. He has become a very reputable high end custom home builder in the Amarillo area. Boyd is currently the presiding President of the Texas Panhandle Builders Association and is sitting on the board of directors of the Texas Association of Builders. He not only strives to better his own business, but strives to better the business of building homes in Amarillo and the state of Texas.
