Builder Matt McFerran, owner and president of Madison Custom Homes, Inc., was born and raised in Indiana before he received his bachelorÆs degree in Construction Engineering at East Tennessee State University. Matt moved back to Indiana to pursue a career in the home building industry. 1n 1992, he acquired a position with a large, well established, locally-owned home building company shortly after he graduated college. Matt worked for that large home construction company for 9 years and then decided to try something different, by working for a smaller custom home construction firm. After working for a premier, well-established small custom home builder for three years, he decided to venture out on his own and start his own construction company, Madison Custom Homes, Inc.
