Chris graduated from Purdue University in 1989 with a BS Degree in Construction Management. Upon obtaining his degree from Purdue, Chris began working for a large construction company out of Oxford, Ohio; Baker Concrete Construction, Inc. In this position Chris learned a lot about commercial construction. He was responsible for Project Management, Quality Control, Safety Management, and Project Engineering: taking a job from the estimate stage and building it. He was employed with Baker Concrete from 1989 - 1994. In 1994 Chris and his wife, Vanessa, decided to start their own construction company building homes in Central Indiana with a focus on Kokomo, IN. Monroe Custom Homes, Inc. has been proudly serving Central Indiana since 1994.
