After attending Roger Williams College, School of Architecture, Gary J. Turgeon moved to Virginia to become a partner in Colony Ltd., a Design-Build Firm in Williamsburg. Colony specialized in custom homes with colonial or traditional design. During Garys 8+ years with Colony, they built over 70 homes many in such pretigious communities as Kingsmill, Fords Colony and Governors Land. Gary moved to South Carolina in 1998 and worked with The Cliffs Communities as the Project Manager. He worked as the developers representative on such projects as The Chapel at Glassy Mountain, Keowee Lake House, Cliffs Valley Swim and Tennis Facility, and The Valley Clubhouse. Although Gary enjoyed the development part of the construction business, he yearned for the more personal, residential side again.
