The legacy of House Craft Homes began in 1978 as John D. Harrington endeavored to start his first contracting business. In 1986, he decided to move his family and business to Florida. Thus began John D. Harrington Construction. As he became rooted in the community he saw the need to serve the rural homeowners of Northern Florida. In 1989, he opened model homes on Highway 441, Alachua, Florida and has since become known as House Craft Homes. He has since built over 1,000 custom homes. The pioneering spirit of the owner and staff at House Craft Homes is found in every home we built. Experience allows us to create and design a special home for each and every customer.
