David P. OÆConnell is a licensed, fully insured, general contractor who uses only insured, certified and licensed subcontractors. Since starting JMOC Builders in 1990 and becoming incorporated in 1993, David and his team have built over 3 dozen single family custom homes and have completed over 100 extensive additions and renovation projects in central New Jersey.What does JMOC stand for?ö This is typically one of the first things every new customer asks us. The answer reflects the true character of David as both a father and a son devoted to his family. DavidÆs father, James Martin OÆConnell, was a high ranked and respected executive in Sweda International and Litton Industries as well as a highly respected man in his community. He was a man of great work ethic. David and his friends grew up with great admiration for DavidÆs father and fondly referred to him as JMOC.
