Park Valley is our newest community in Stillwater close to downtown and Oklahoma State University. This community features homes that range from 1,158 sq ft to 2,402 sq ft. Home to Oklahoma State University, Stillwater was voted one of the 100 top places to live in 2010 according to CNN Money Magazine. Stillwater is noted for its diverse economy from manufacturing to advanced technology with the largest employer being the university. Economic clusters include aerospace, agribusiness, biotechnology, optoelectronics, printing and publishing, software and standard manufacturing. Home to a number of annual festivals and community events held throughout the year, including the long-running Art Fair, Stillwater also has a Botanical Garden and Arboretum, several history museums, and famous venues like Willie's Saloon and Eskimo Joe's. Stillwater is where the genre of "Red Dirt Music" (a mixture of folk, country, blues and rock) got its start. Other places of interest include the OSU Gardiner Art Gallery and National Wrestling Hall of Fame and Museum. The City of Stillwater Parks and Recreation Department manages more than 5,000 acres of playground, four 18-hole golf courses, 14 playgrounds, and plenty of places to practice the sports the college excels at.
