Here you’re in the epicenter of Denver’s most dynamic new zone of growth. Currently home to Elitch Gardens, The River Mile is Denver’s new downtown neighborhood. Adjacent to the Central Business District and every other major destination in the city: LoHi, the Pepsi Center, Larimer Square, the Auraria Campus, Empower Field at Mile High, the Denver Children’s Museum, the Downtown Aquarium, Confluence Park, and Union Station with its direct rail connections to Denver International Airport in one direction and Winter Park Ski Resort in the other.

The South Platte River is a story of transformation. From a long neglected part of an industrial landscape to a newly rediscovered and revitalized natural resource "for fish and for fun." Before the first building foundation is poured, the river is being revitalized along The River Mile and far beyond. It’s a major commitment by the developer Revesco Properties, in partnership with The Greenway Foundation, The City of Denver and other environmental experts to reaffirm the importance of the South Platte as an essential part of the regional ecology – as an active watershed, wildlife habitat and recreational amenity for all. The restoration will add 27 acres of waterside parks and open space, and it will help to energize this new downtown neighborhood emerging at the river’s edge. More info about The River Mile
